Art Exhibition
I’m happy to announce that my piece “Bread and Butter B/W“, which is the piece that started the hand series has been juried into an art exhibition at the Art League of New Britain, CT.

This art exhibition will ran from April 8 to 29. See the flyer below for more details. I hope you can stop by the Art League of New Britain to see this show which is bound to be a fabulous one.
This exhibition is organized by the Connecticut Women Artists, which is a great organization for women artists working in different genres- from fiber, paint, photography, printmaking etc. This is their annual members’ show where only members of the organization are allowed to enter their work for consideration.
Later on in the year, there’ll also be another exhibition organized by CWA. In this second exhibition, entries will be open to all artists – members and non-members, residents of CT and non-residents. CWA usually puts on very fine exhibitions. If you’re a lover of fine art, you’ll want to attend their shows.
Creating “Serenade at Sunset” Video
Last week, I promised to create a short video to show how I put together “Serenade at Sunset“. I have finally created the video. It’s a short video (under two minutes) that gives a quick overview of my creative process.
If the video does not appear, please click on this link
I hope you enjoy learning about my process. I’ll be glad to answer any questions you have. So feel free to leave a comment below. What have you been up to? Share your processes too. Are they similar or different from mine?
Warmest Regards,
Congratulations on being juried into the show. Great work!
Thanks Barb.
Good for you! And great video!
Thanks Janis. I’ll try and make some more “art in progress” videos in the future.
