Last fall, the editor of the well recognized publication — Quilting Arts Magazine — contacted me about an artist feature. I was ecstatic: my work had previously been published in the magazine as part of other stories, but nothing like a feature exclusively on my work.

Over several months we worked through interviews and materials submission. Vivika Hansen DeNegre, the editor, put my work at the front and center of this feature. Works from my Gem Series are featured in the article.

The feeling of being published never wears old. Holding a copy of the Quilting Arts Magazine in my hand made it feel real. The feature appears in the Spring 2023 issue 117, pages 12 to 16 — a five-page spread.
