Dear creative friends, I’ve got unexpected news about Intersect Chicago 2021.

Due to concerns over COVID, I received news that the art fair – Intersect Chicago 2021- where my piece Hats Don’t Fit was going to be showed has been canceled.
Obviously, I’m disappointed about this turn of events. I was so excited about the opportunity to show my work to a new audience, gallerists, collectors and more.
Moreover, this was going to be my first major art fair. To date, I’ve only done one other art fair. So, I was pumped about the possibility of selling my work and gaining new collectors at Intersect Chicago, 2021.
As a result, I’d already spent a day carefully rolling, boxing and mailing my piece – “Hats Don’t Fit” to the SAQA Exhibition center ahead of their given deadline. As it happens, my piece arrived at SAQA before the decision was made to cancel this art fair. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen the fun video of me packing my piece for shipping. Yes, that’s how much I was excited.
However, as much as I’m disappointed with this news (Intersect Chicago 2021 canceled), I know that many of you are too.
I want to say thank you to all of you who had made plans, rearranged your work schedules so you could go to the fair to see my work. Some of you sent me messages. So, I know how much you were looking forward to going to the Navy Pier this fall just to see my work. I see you. And I feel your love. I won’t be here without your support. I appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know. Thank you. Thank you.
Warmest regards.
