Drawn with Threads

This is a series of pieces I created for an exhibition called Drawn with Threads.

In this series, I began to look at the human figure with a special focus on hairstyles. I wanted to explore the question of whether individuals can separate who they are from how they look.

In this series, I rendered my pen and ink sketches on fabric. Utilizing thread drawing techniques, I created the facial features mostly in grey scale threads to simulate the simplicity of ink illustrations.
